Vivo S6 5G announced in China

Today Vivo announced Vivo S6 5G, a high-mid range 5G phone in China. The device will be available in China for pre-booking from 4th April. There is no information about its international release so far. The phone comes in two versions. The 6/128GB version will cost CNY 2,698 ($380/৳32,500) and the 8/256GB will be available for CNY 2,998 ($425/৳36,500).

Vivo S6 5G is powered by Samsung’s 8nm Exynos 980 chipset and Android 10 based on Funtouch 10 UI. 8 GB RAM and Mali-G76 MP5 GPU are there to support a smooth gaming experience. The 4500 mAh battery comes with 18W Fast Charging, which is somewhat ordinary considering the price range.

There is a circular Quad back camera setup on the back with 48MP main shooter, dual-LED flash, ultrawide, dedicated macro camera and depth sensor with Ultra HD 4K video recording support. On the front, there is a 32MP camera inside the waterdrop notch.

We have got a 6.44 inches Full HD+ HDR10 AMOLED display, which is also nothing over the top. However, still a fair deal. The phone is only 8.7 millimeters slim and weighs 181 grams. There is an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and fast Face Unlock.
